Breast Cancer Research Foundation awards $240,000 to the International Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
MADISON, WI, 2012— The International Breast Cancer Research Foundation (IBCRF), headquartered in Madison, WI is the recipient of funding from the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), New York, New York. Dr. Larry Norton, medical director of the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Scientific Advisors and the BCRF board of directors announced that the Scientific Advisors of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation have unanimously approved funding for the new proposal from the International Breast Cancer Research Foundation, for $240,000, over the year beginning October 1, 2012. The BCRF’s cumulative support of IBCRF now stands at over $2,700,000.
